About Ritual & Thyme
Ritual & Thyme was born from the knowing that food is not just fuel — it is frequency.
I create holistic, seasonal, soul-nourishing cuisine for people who are ready to feel safe in their bodies again. Food, for me, has always been more than ingredients on a plate. It has been my sanctuary. My playground. My place of expansion.
I grew up in South Florida, in the kitchen life felt like freedom. While the world outside felt rigid and loud, the kitchen was where I could soften. Create. Experiment. Feel powerful. That never left me.
I went on to train at Le Cordon Bleu in Boston and sharpened my craft in professional kitchens, including training under Chef Seizi Imura at Cafe Sushi. I later founded a cold-pressed juice company in Panama and consulted on wellness menus for luxury spaces. I’ve cooked for professional athletes, wellness leaders, therapists, retreat groups, and families who simply want to feel better in their own homes.
But my real education came through my own healing.
I navigated hypothyroidism, metabolic dysfunction, IBS, gout, and the complex ripple effects of long-term medication use for mental health. At one point, I felt like a collection of diagnoses — managed, medicated, and misunderstood.
I share this not as a badge of struggle, but as context for why I cook the way I do.
Through deep somatic work, nervous system regulation, plant medicine therapy, and radical lifestyle shifts, I restored my thyroid health, healed my liver, reduced systemic inflammation, reversed pre-diabetes, and resolved chronic digestive issues. I learned firsthand that the body is intelligent — and that healing is not one-size-fits-all.
That experience fundamentally shaped my approach to food.
I don’t cook from templates.
I cook from attunement.
Every menu I create is intuitively designed and seasonally grounded. Organic, with gluten-free, dairy-free, refined sugar-free — yes. But also vibrant. Sensual. Abundant. Beautiful. Food that supports your nervous system simply by being received.
Because nourishment is multidimensional.
It’s physical. Emotional. Energetic. Ancestral.
I am also a true foodie. I have been cooking my entire life. Flavor, creativity, and pleasure are non-negotiable for me. I refuse the narrative that healing requires deprivation — and I don’t want that for you either.
As a holistic private chef and wellness facilitator based in Northern California, I weave together classical technique, seasonal ingredients, global inspiration, and intuitive precision. Whether I’m cooking for a coastal retreat, an intimate dinner, or a family seeking deeper vitality, my intention is the same:
To create meals that create a memory.
