The steak and brussels were terrific. I ate all of it the night you were here. Cold and barely warmed both. Didn't even give myself to save some steak for a sandwich the next day. Not all chefs, believe it or not, do steak well, and I've long since stopped making it myself (use steak in other recipes, or a fancier, frenchier version). I rely on restaurant chefs. I haven't had steak as you prepared it probably since late 2023 at Taste in Plymouth CA. Love that place. Roland and I used to go there at least twice a month for years when we lived in the foothills. Know the staff, the owners, etc.
